Membership Application – Weston Creek Women’s Bowling Club
New bowlers are always welcome
Weston Creek Women’s Bowling Club prides itself on its friendly, supportive and inclusive nature.
Note: Membership is only open to financial members of the Canberra Labor Club, unless you are under the age of 18 where this rule is waived. Details of Canberra Labor Club Membership are available at this link.
The Bowling Membership year is from July 1 through to June 30.
All membership applications are processed pending Board approval.
Bowling Membership includes affiliation fees to Bowls ACT Inc, Bowls Australia and World Bowls.
Membership Classes and Subscription Fees:
- Member Players $100 (full fee) or $90 (Seniors, Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs Concession Cardholder)
- Junior Members $35
- Social Members $30
A Member Player is any woman who has attained the age of (18) eighteen years, who has applied for and been accepted for membership of the Club.
Junior Members from the age of (12) twelve years may be accepted as full members, even though they are not eligible for membership of the Canberra Labor Club Group, and may play in all social and Club Championships but shall not have the right to vote at meetings or hold a position in the Club before attaining the age of 18 years.
A Social Member is only eligible to attend social functions and shall not have the right to vote at meetings, hold a position in the Club, play social bowls or participate in Club Championships and Bowls ACT events.
Please download and print the Membership Application Form, fill it in and either post it to the Secretary, scan it and e-mail it to wcwbc@outlook.com or drop it into the Secretary’s box in the Bowls Office at Weston Creek Labor Club when you next come in.
